Welcome to the 4th International Workshop on Medical

Imaging at Suzhou, which is organized by Medical Image

Processing, Analysis and Visualization Lab, Soochow

University.

 

Medical imaging comprises different imaging modalities

and processes to image human body for diagnostic and

treatment purposes. With the aid of computers, automatic

or interactive medical image processing and analysis can

further facilitate clinical practices. As a field of scientific

investigation, medical imaging is highly interdisciplinary

and requires collaboration of clinicians, scientists and

engineers.

 

The aim of the workshop is to provide a platform for

researchers from around the world to gather together

and discuss the relevant topics for further promoting

the advances in the fields. The workshop will invite

leading experts in medical imaging area from USA,

Canada and China, who will give talks on their

latest research development and achievements.
